In the Beginning...

Last fall on Halloween we planted 1,000 mixed tulip bulbs and 500 mixed Daffodil bulbs. We made a special grid from spare lumber and string to define the spacing of each bulb and then placed them in the trench. 

Some of the bulbs were also drilled nice small holes to sit down into. We used our electric drill with a special auger. 




















It took us about 6 hours to plant all the bulbs, some of that was our learning curve and some was us goofing around. We had a lot of fun and we are excited to see all of the bulbs bloom this spring.
